Remember a couple of weeks ago, when I had terrible insomnia... I think it's starting again. I even took a sleeping pill, and alas, I am not asleep.. I hate this.
on a better note, the traffic coming into my blog has increased significantly, even on the days when I am not even posting, that makes me feel so special!! Like teacher put a gold star on your vocab test special. Yep!
Although I am convinced it has a lot to do with this secret I am carrying around in my pocket. I know a lot of you are still biting your nails at what it might be.. Well.. Stick around because who knows, in a few weeks this could get really interesting!

reversable car seat cover turorial
I want to extend a huge congratulations to one of my best friend Bri, she will be welcoming her first child in just a couple of weeks, and I loved making this for her!
I picked out two different types of fabric, I was in love with this bright floral print and have been thinking about what I could make with it for weeks now. So glad I finally found a reason. I picked 1 1/4 yard of each. So a total of 2 1/2 yards.
Next I pinned the two materials facing each other, and ironed it. I figured it made the process faster... After ironing. I pinned it together. The square measured 35 x 40 inches.
I then stitched all around the square, except about 5 inches in one spot. You can make it smaller, you just need to be able to pull it right side out.
Now for the remaining section that needs to be finished I took the double sided iron on paper, and cute a small strip, folded in the fabric pieces to match the edges. and ironed it closed.
The edge finished nicely, and I didn't need any stitching on the outside.
After that, I picked some ribbon, which I cut 4 pieces into 15 inches long each. I then measured out to the middle of the square and placed 2 pieces of ribbon 12 inches apart. I stitched those on.
Then rotated and did the same thing on the opposite side.
And you're done! I didn't have a car seat to show the finished product on, but perhaps my friend Bri will take a photo of hers, and lend it to me. I dressed up the cover a bit more by making some twisted fabric flowers two in each type of fabric, and pinned them to the opposite sides, adding more contrast. It was super super cute. I will get def get a finished photo! Enjoy!
It was a super easy, and inexpensive baby gift, and I think I will be giving more and more of these!

Charity never failith
As I started typing this blog, I had another one of those moments, where it turned into something completely different, and I felt that the original post would not do any justice.
Today, in church, we learned that charity is equivalent to love, and not just love, but the pure love of Christ. To provide Charity is not just giving clothing, food, or money to those in need. It is looking upon another, and seeing the face of Christ and being able to love them for who they are, and not for what expectations you expect of them..
This starts by looking at yourself, and realizing that no one is perfect, you do not expect perfection from yourself, why would you expect this from anyone else? Or vice versa..
Where am I going with this? you ask.. Well.. In life there are so many moments where we are unsure of what events are about to unfold in our crazy life's. But, the one thing that I am so blessed to know, that remains consistent, is that the Savior is always there for me, not matter what. He loves me. Not even that, he love you too, and the only thing you need to do, is be open and willing to except this love. How great is that?!
How great is that, not matter what you do, or the choices you make in this life, the Lord will always find you in his favor.
I found a couple of videos on Youtube, that speak volume to the Lords love. We all could use a little perspective, and taking a step back from the world, and allowing ourselves to once look in the mirror, and for once seeing ourselves through the Lords eye's.
I know the videos are a little long.. But, totally worth it. I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday!
Remember, all you need to know is that the Lord loves you unconditionally, and that planting your faith, however small, will blossom into something beautiful. Keep this in mind as we draw closer to Easter. We could all use a little more Christ in our lives.

AND, 100....
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness. This is my 100th post!! Oh my gosh.... tear. sniffle. I'd like to thank, well... lots of people. My husband for putting up with me, all my friends for letting me blog about them, and putting up with me when I rant, and complain, and to all of you, who read my blog, and wait while I procrastinate to get up another post.
YES, I have made it... well, I have made a milestone. I cannot wait til I am blogging the 200th, or even 500th blog post. Yikes, that is a lot of blogging!
But for today, with it being the 100th post and all, I would like to share my semi-done dream board. I say 'semi' mainly because, I know there are other things I want to add to it, but I haven't found that right other thing, but it's out there!
Yes, I used crayon for my dream board.. but I love to color, and it was lots and lots of fun to make!
I actually really like, and it looks awesome on my bedroom wall!! Plus the picture up in the corner, I don't know if you can see it.. That's me, almost 5 years ago, when I was my skinniest, and I look smokin' hot. So, that gives me some motivation to be lookin' that slammin' again! Oh yeah! Hey, it's my dream board.. not yours.
Oh yes, things are lookin' awesome. I got another tutorial that I am gonna post on Monday. I had to wait for my friends baby shower today, so that she didn't see what I made her before hand. Plus with being sick, and everything... my month of tutorials got away from me. FAIL.
Don't hate me.
But, I have a bunch of exciting things for the end of March, and with April right around the corner, I am looking forward to April showers, and lots of photos! I hope your weekend is going well thus far, and we will be seeing you Monday, with an awesome tutorial, and a few other post to follow!

Edge of your seat!!!
Oh yes, I have made a post on Facebook recently that something wonderful has come our way, and we have a HUGE surprise!! I cannot even tell you how big this is. However, I have shared this news with a few people already, merely because it's so special to me, I don't want to jinx the happenings and mess it all up.
Right now, we are asking for prayers, and unconditional love, and support. Hopefully as we get closer we will be able to share the good news with everyone!
We are excited, and know that when we finally share this news with everyone, you will all be as excited with us.
I hope you are now sitting at the edge of your chair, biting your nails, and feeling a little frustrated with me. I noticed the increase of views on my blog recently, and I am sure it is due to the fact that everyone is itching to know.
It's gonna be life changing, and something amazing.
Happy St. Patricks day, I hope that you get as lucky as me. It's my favorite holiday, and I am feeling very blessed, and over the rainbow about!

I like blogging every day, and I know a few people liked reading my blog every day!! So, I am brain storming, and thinking. I am excited.
I have a few blogs that will be coming very shortly, and perhaps some good news. I excited!! This is started to shape up to be a very good year!

Burlap Wreath Tutorial
I found this awesome wreath on this blog I stalk.. I decided, I wanted to make it. I found this wreath HERE! But, I am gonna give ya my own tutorial, so you can just stay tuned to my blog.
Supplies
wreath of any size.. I choose 16 inches
hot glue gun
burlap, about two yards
different kinds of fabric. I choose about 4 different kinds, if you want more that’s fine too.
Buttons, or any other kind of brads, or tacks to place in the center of your circles
twine
small clothes pins
cut out circles from the burlap, and fabric that you have picked out.. Size doesn’t matter, and they don’t have to be perfect. That is what is so great about this project, you don’t have to be professional.
After cutting out about 100 or so circles from various materials... Ugh.. This is the time consuming part.. But if you fold your fabric right.. You can get about 4 circles at once. Put the circles off to the side, and get the rest of your burlap out. No worries this wasn't even half of the amount of circles I cut out..
You take your burlap, cute it about 4 inches wide, and the length of the burlap it’s self.. I ended up using about 4 strips to wrap the entire wreath. Obviously every’s wrapping technique is different, and it also depends on what size of wreath you get.
Wreath wrapped and lookin' so good!
Now start placing the circles on your wreath. Over lapping, and pushing sides up are a bonus. I waited til I was done putting on all the circles, til I glued on the buttons.
Almost finished. After this I glued the twine onto the back of the wreath to give a clothes line effect. Then I printed out the word 'welcome' and hung it up like clothing. I love it!
It looks great on my door! I am so glad, I finally got something put on my door!

So... Yeah... I have been absent. Don't judge me. I have big news.... I got a job. Yes, not just any job... I got hired at Hobby Lobby... Now before you start doing cartwheels and getting jealous... Stop. It has been awful.. They haven't even opened the store yet so they are busy trying to stock everything and get it all ready.. Needless to say, in 3 days I have gotten hardly any sleep, and worked nearly 30 hours. Now, to top that off... I am running a low grade fever, and feeling a little over whelmed. So, if I happen to say something in the next few post that don't quite make sense... I am delirious and this cannot be held against me.
I will however let you know, I have been busy crafting, and getting ready for my March creative month post.. I know, I am a little slow on the starting. So stay tuned and I will post in the next few hours!!!

side note
Do you ever have moments where you are sitting there, and all of the sudden you feel as though you may burst into tears. Not just any tears, like hysterical, choke back, red-faced kind of crying. Yeah, I had one of those moments today. I was just sitting there, minding my own business, when I felt like a good cry were about to happen. Mind you, there was nothing out of the ordinary happening, just a normal Friday... But, I wanted to cry.
I am unsure as to why I want to cry, but I feel the pending of a good cry building up..
It's going to be a long weekend at this rate..

another green tip!
I am still very much on this going green thing, and thus far I have conquered two things on my list of ten, and now, I have two more things to add. I had already been recycling my cans, before I even considered going green. It was a good to know that while I was recycling I was also contributing to my little brothers. I save all my soda cans, and then I give them to my little brothers, and they use the money towards saving for their college fund! So, it's a win win- I know you don't get a lot from the metal, but they have been doing it for years now, and I can honestly say, they have earned quite a bit!
My other contributing to going green, was starting to recycle paper. Utah isn't wonderfully equipped for recycling, but they are set up with little recycling spots here and there, especially at schools. So, I started saving all my paper, including the left over pages of the Sunday paper, after I grab all my coupons from it. It's a great way to keep from having to pile up my trash, and I help the planet!
It may seem, like it's a huge hassle, but, it's totally worth it! I feel great knowing I am doing something good!

such a tease
So, I have been busy the last few days, getting things done, and keeping my hands busy. Woot! i am so excited for the Month of March to be here, and I cannot wait for all the little things I am going to be posting throughout the month!
I am so excited, but I can't show you everything right now, because that would spoil all the fun! But, I can share a little teaser with you! In this photo, and not in this photo, are things I am working on for this month.
I hope you are watering at the mouth... Not really, seeing as how it wasn't anything to get to excited about!
